Dutch music theatre company Oorkaan will perform their award-winning toddler production Glimpse at BAM, the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
Glimpse is a music performance for toddlers and their (grand)parents, in which musicians, music, images, technology and audiences embark on a special journey of friendship. The production won the 2015 YAMawards for Best Music Production of the Year and Best Small Ensemble.

Oorkaan will perform their show in a series of 12 concerts for families and school classes at BAM, the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.

Erin Coppens, Oorkaan's dramaturg and head of internationalisation, is excited about their upcoming series:

"Glimpse was the first production for toddlers we made and the creation process was an interesting journey into carefully creating a theatrical concert that would bring this very young audience into a special world where sound and images would meet. Ever since Glimpse won the YAMaward (Young Audience Music Award) for best music production for young audiences worldwide in 2015 we have been touring the production in many interesting concert halls, theatres and at festivals in both Europe and China. We are very honoured with the invitation by BAM to premiere Glimpse in the US and we are looking forward to performing it for both families and schoolchildren there, as part of the Never Grow Up! project."
