The Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes is the world’s largest gathering of puppeteers and object theatre makers that takes place every other year in Charleville-Mézières, France. Dutch Performing Arts supports five Dutch theatre companies who will perform at the festival.

Nieuw Geneco researches opportunities abroad

This fall, the Dutch member association of Dutch composers Nieuw Geneco will visit Donaueschinger Musiktage in Germany and the ISCM World New Music Days, taking place in Canada this year. These visits are financially supported by Dutch Performing Arts. The aim is to research opportunities and stimulate interest for Dutch composers, and to strengthen the international network.

Going Dutch: jazz from the Netherlands 2017

Dutch Performing Arts commissioned the Jazz Promotion Network to coordinate the focus programme going Dutch in 2017 to support Dutch jazz musicians and/or groups to perform and tour in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. There are plans to continue the programme in 2018.
